Greyhound Rescue and Recovery Program

Building Trust and Confidence

Adopting a greyhound is a deeply rewarding experience but can come with unique challenges. Most greyhounds have limited early socialisation and have never lived in a typical home environment. For them, everything—from flooring to household sounds—can feel unfamiliar, overwhelming, or even scary.

As a certified behavioural trainer with first-hand experience adopting greyhounds, I understand what these beautiful dogs need to feel safe, supported, and confident. That’s why I created the Greyhound Rescue and Recovery Program—to gently guide both you and your greyhound through the early stages of your life together.

Through kindness, patience, and positive reinforcement, I’ll support you in building trust with your greyhound while teaching you both how to co-exist peacefully in your home environment.

6- Week Program - $395

  • 1 x 1-hour one on one training session

  • 2 x 30-minute one on one training  sessions

  • 3 x Phone check-ins

Travel charges may apply depending on your location.

All greyhounds are different and the program is tailored to the needs of you and your greyhound.

What We’ll Cover

This program focuses on the key areas many adopted greyhounds need help with.
  • Gentle socialisation

  • Basic manners and everyday life skills

  • House training (tailored to rescue greyhounds)

  • Confidence building through calm, structured support

I’ll help you create a home where your greyhound feels safe and supported, and together, we’ll build a strong and lasting bond based on trust and understanding.

If you've recently adopted a greyhound or are planning to, this program is the perfect start to help them transition into home life with confidence.
